Hello, everybody! I cannot figure out how to change the time on the new format at Inlinkz, so the challenge will start at noon, CST, today, June 20th.
I've been trying to write this post all day in my head. I just cannot find the words needed to express my gratefulness and sadness.
First, I am ever so grateful to each of you who have played along with our challenges. To think that our followers are three shy of 600! Wow, that blows my mind! Thank you!
Second, I have said this before and I have to say it again, my 'Dream Team' have been so awesome to work with. Not a single moment of drama and that says lots. They've been pulling me through some very difficult times. They are all absolutely the best!
Third, I had nothing to do with this but I must apologize with all the issues with our linky for the previous challenge. Unfortunately, I am using the same linky for this challenge, only because I'd paid for the subscription and I am not one to throw money away. It's why I am so rich! lol I do not understand why some participants were able to see it and use it and others were not. I visited the link myself and it worked for me. I reviewed the settings at Inlinkz and I could not find anything amiss. I attempted to enter the links left in the comments; however, each entry required an email and I was at a loss at how to bypass that requirement. Changes were made by Inlinkz and they certainly didn't ask for my opinion and they also did not give me a choice. It is what it is.
Which brings me to my final moment with you. I'd been discussing with the Team about closing the blog. I had not been able to give it the attention it and all our participants deserve(s) for personal reasons. We'd decided that July 4th was to be our final post. We planned to go into a summer break and it seemed the best time to close the blog. However, with all the frustrations caused by the changes brought on by InLinkz, Challenge 153 will be our final challenge. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
I started drawing when I was a little kid and I developed a very realistic style. I usually painted animals and plants from photos, thinking that I would never had enough imagination to draw something without looking at it first. I am so glad I was wrong!!! When I had my kids a few years ago I started telling stories, making toys, and drawing for them. It opened a new world for me. I love making illustrations and I would love if you could sense that there could be a little story behind them. I surely have a story for many of them.
Check out the makes by my 'Dream Team' and please leave them some blog luv! :)
